--- $10NL Full Ring

UTG+1 ($11.15)
MP1 ($8.05)
MP2 ($2.85)
MP3 ($11.75)
Hero ($9.90)
Button ($10.30)
SB ($10.65)
BB ($2.55)
UTG ($9.35)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/club.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.05.
3 folds, MP2 calls $0.10, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.4, 3 folds, MP2 calls $0.30.
To me, this limp-call suggests either a pocket-pair being played for set value, or a dubious AA/KK slowplay. I suppose it could be a stubborn player holding SCs.

Flop: ($0.95) T/images/graemlins/club.gif, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 3/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets $0.7, MP2 raises to $2.45 (All-in), Hero folds.
Given the Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, T/images/graemlins/club.gif are already out I think I can totally discount SCs here. I think either he hit his set or has AA/KK anyway. I'm surely behind to his range here

Final Pot: $1.65

Is this OK, or too weak? It would have been easier if I'd raised to 5x pre-flop, but I am hesitant to make such defensive raise with QQ+ ...

MP2 is a shortie, so he could have almost anything here. I call here always.

[Edit: preflop is fine 3BB + 1BB/limper.]

The hand range you have put him on preflop is far far too narrow. I don't understand why you wouldn't want to bet 50c or even more if the opposition will call it. I'd certainly make it 50c pre.

On the flop his range of hands is still pretty wide. If he's got a hand that beats you why would he push allin? His bet doesn't say "I want a call" it says "I want a fold".

Generally I raise pf 4xbb + 1 for each limper, so here I would have made it $.50.

As for the flop push by villain, noting his stacksize I call here. A set is within his range as are overcards or a flush draw, but I think we even see air here often enough.

ZOMG NEVER FOLD THIS AGAIN EVER HERE. Also your ranges for him are extremely tight, they are probably closer to this:

Ax suited or not, K8s+, his favorite hand, his mom's favorite hand, any cards that kind of connect, and then pairs and hands you need to worry about. Folding here to a shortstack is criminal.

Insta call.

This is AT, KT, QT, JT, KJ, A9, and of course his mon's favorite hand. You're giving this shortie to much respect.

FWIW if you're giving him that much respect you should consider that he doesn't have odds to play for set value...

He has odds if he knows he's going to stack you when he hits.

That said I would get it in here as well.
