Looking back on how i played the hand, i regret just calling on the turn. I think he would try a check raise if he turned trips and i think the best play in this spot might have been to put him all in on the turn. I dont think folding on the turn is the correct play and i definitely think i had to fold on the river.

Please don't raise the turn. You played it fine.

I like your line; the river's an obvious fold.

You say he has been tight, but has he been aggressive in the pots that he has been in? I think the river is marginal, but I would probably lead towards calling.

The flop check-call, turn-lead combo smells to me like an AK floating the flop and trying to steal from you. When you just call the turn, it seems like you have a weak made hand (maybe 66-99) or something like that. That, coupled with the push... I can't figure out. It depends on your image at this time. Will you call your whole stack with just an overpair (if that is what he is reading you for) or he is trying to push you off the hand?

I would bet a little more on the flop, $3.50 - $4.

Apart from that, I would play it the same and expect to see 66 - JJ often enough to make the call profitable.

Actually, the more that I look at it the more I feel like he has a 4 in his hand, but I can't figure out what he is calling a raise with OOP with that contains a 4, obviously 33-55 are all possible, but become a lot less likely when there are both 4s and 5s out. That leaves 3s, and are 3s full going to push on that river? Other than that, you have any A5s, A4s combos... and then the pairs 66+, and AQ+ maybe. I'd like to see more of a discussion about what people think his range is to call that bet OOP and then how the action restricts his range further. I'm a little lost myself, but we don't really have a read on the villain.

I think enough to call given the pot odds...

To everyone that is saying fold: what hand are we giving villain credit for? AA or KK? Or do we really think he has one of the 4s or 5s?

This is the best case for us because I think that all of these hands COULD concievably be in his calling range and COULD conceivably play the hand this way. But, if we want to start the discussion to narrow down the hand range, I'm all for that.
