Maybe I should have checked the flop to see a cheaper turn card?

I personally would check the flop and not donkbet it like that, it really induces a raise, to a TAG like that imo.

Being it played like that, I don't see how you did anything wrong. Some people tend to reraise that preflop. But as you're OOP, calling seems good to me.

Calling off half your stack out of position on the flop is bad.. shoving &gt; calling

The only reason to lead the flop is to 3bet AI, but given this is a min 3bet pot FE is likely low so check-calling the flop is what I would liekly do and let aggro man hang himself on flush turn or ace turn.

I'm guessing he 3bets light a bit form his stats, so woudl ocnsider 3betAI on the flop, so as played shove over his raise for the high variance route.

Yeah shouldn't have bet into a TAG's solid min 3 bet pot. Thought I could have seen an extra card easy while taking control. I'll probaly check/call flop and check/fold turn in the future. Thanks guys.
