Villain is unknown. I feel like I've been stacking off a bit much in this spot recently. Is this standard on such a dry flop?

Full Stacks, sorry bout that

i see no reason to fold there. my guess is he has aq since he just called.

I see no reason not to push without reads

Pushing here sucks, we never get called when ahead (except sometimes AQ) and never fold out anything that beats us. The flop is soo dry, what can he hold he that pushing is good against?

I was strongly considering a call and re-eval turn, not a push.

folding here sucks. call and reeval turn at least. pushing isnt bad but not optimal IMO.

Cool, I regretted it immediately afterwards. Just wanted to make sure

i really hate this spot, has happened to me a lot lately with overpairs

the board is as dry as u can get which makes the raise so scary and i think u see a set here a lot, and its even harder with out a read

i would call and reassess the turn, but with such a dry board i think your only beating a bluff or AQ, but i wouldnt raise with AQ here.

no way i would push

I Call, and consider C/R on all in turn.

I would call and shove over villains turn bet. I don't like folding here without a solid read.

In this spot you must be getting all your stack in on either the flop or the turn.

I sometimes call this on the flop, but mostly just push. Often enough you will be called be a one pair hand other than AQ (such as KQ, QJ).

post villain stacks
folding is wrong on flop

I don't consider a board with a queen on it "dry". I've seen this play a ton of times with TPTK or worse. I'm likely felting this one unless I have a good read on villain that says "don't!"

How are people defining "dry" and "wet"...I use the terms solely to describe how drawy it is. This flop would be as dry as it can get.

Obviously others have different ideas...I watched jonyy6788's video and he described a flop as dry that had a FD and a SD on it. I thought he misspoke until he did the same thing at a later point.

Basically what I'm getting at when I'm reffering to a flop as dry or wet is how drawy it is. What I really want to asses though is how ofter villains have sets or 2pair when they make this flop c/r. For example, on a 965 flop a villain might checkraise with 98 or 76 or whatever.

The queen on this flop makes it less likely that villain has a set and I do see AQ being a big part of his range here, which makes folding pretty wrong. Don' know what johnyy is doing though.
