Hand one. Pot flop to charge possible flush draw. Rest looks ok although I bet turn say 3/4 pot and fold to big raise.

Hand 2 - bet more PF. Bet 1/2 to 3/4 pot on flop...Fold to any aggression. Your line is weak and you're inviting someone to steal and/or draw with correct odds.

1. Could have aggressive bet the turn; if you look TAG at the table, he could easily read you as holding KQ at CO play. He was probably chasing flush anyway, so that should force him out. I'd play him to the end regardless since the flush didn't appear.

2. He had the straight, or knew you definately did not have the straight, which anyone could read, since you moved out of early position with a raise pre-flop. Correct move to fold; either he hit the straight or simply chased that flush; either way, you're not really in that position to call because 1 pair just isn't going to cut it with those odds.

Hey Jack.

Hand 1, raise the flop to $3.10 or so. If he calls, the rest looks fine. A bet on the turn would charge the /images/graemlins/club.gif draw, though, and that's looks likely. But typical Villians love to slowplay big hands on the turn, so I can see an argument for checking the turn. As played, I don't think there's any value on the river.

Hand 2, against this Villian I'd put in another raise preflop. By calling, we're almost playing KK for set value. Pot the flop. If called, we have to decide whether he has AA or not. If not, we don't slow down unless a Q or an Ace comes off. Fold to the push on the turn as played. The way we've played the hand so far, we've squarely put him on AA.

But even against this Villian and the fact that this is his first PFR, I go broke here. Its what, 44-1 that your opponent has AA when you hold KK, and we only have 37 hands on him. Given the small number of hands we have on him, I play for stacks either preflop or on the flop.
