Villain runs at 32/17/5.... How is my preflop raise? Is cbetting this flop wrong? What should have been my flop line.

I think the pre flop raise is fine and I also think it's right to continuation bet here. If he fights back just let it go.

One thing to think of is your bet size on the flop. If you pot on flops with flush draws when you hit the flop you should pot bet when you don't hit also.

even in a 3bet pot pf; I should still pot the flop for my cbet?

should i have 3bet a larger amount given that I was in the big blind and would have to play OOP? isn't cbetting this flop pointless as no one who called my 3bet is folding this flop? should I just c/f?

Looks standard.

I 3bet to $7 as my standard. Gotta cbet here for balance IMO, this flop kinda sucks bc hes never folding any pair. Also, no one folds to 3bets IMO so you will fold out all unpaired hands and take it down.

I like your cbet better than a PSB. Hands that are calling $8 are likely calling $13 against the typical player.

Oh, and I like a $8 reraise pf.

No I don't think you should pot this flop, but you need to bet as if you had AA, KK, etc. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

I'm not familiar with poker tracker stats so is 32/17/5 a tight or a lose player? If he's really tight preflop you might think about checking but I almost always bet. Where I play lots of player make lose calls here. If he calls on the flop give up if the king or ace don't hit on the turn.

Edit, it's probably a good idea to bet a bit more before the flop.

Yes I would raise more preflop given your position, plus the fact that winning the pot preflop is much more desirable with AKs than with QQ/KK/AA.

No, c-betting the flop is not pointless. This guy could have a whole lot of hands that will fold to a bet including several that have you beat. And your c-bet size looks fine. This kind of situation happens to me at least a couple times a day, and the villain folds to the c-bet quite frequently. The hand looks good to me.

i like a slightly bigger preflop raise... other than that everything seems fine

highly doubt he'd fight back without a stong holding since you 2 are pretty ahead of the field as far as money goes

I like how you played the hand although I would make the cb a little larger, $9.
