No reads except in a hand where I had position, he fired on the turn on a board of 2688 and half pot bet 6 river. The flop had 2 of the same suit and I called him down on the turn w/ QQ. He flipped over K9 for the busted flush draw, so he's loose OOP.

PF is pretty marginal in MP.

Considering you know that he can make a play when he misses a draw I would be inclined to call the river, as it is unlikely that he has hit a spade flush. He could well have been drawing to the club flush and now be trying to rep the spade.

Raise PF isn't bad you have to loosen up your play a little bit. Flop you made a good bet, turn you made another solid raise, and then river I say you call because he would have reraised you before the river if he had A9, and same with a set. I say the hand you played before was a good indicator for you that he is very capable of making a bet like this and with a busted flush draw. I say call here just based on the knowledge you got from him earlier.

I call here...though I think there's a good chance he was making a move (semibluff) on the turn with A/images/graemlins/spade.gifx/images/graemlins/spade.gif and now has the NF.

Does the fact that he took this exact same line as a bluff make a difference? This hand came like 3 hands right after the bluff. I considered whether he had Asxs, but he's very quick to call with his draws. He took some time before he called my raise.

Also, the preflop raise for me here is pretty standard, especially as I get deeper I open up my raising range since there's much more room for me to play.

He prolly has a busted draw, or a weaker hand than you.. if he made the nut flush good for him.

at this point your 2 pair has no value. Its simply a bluff catcher.
so how many times do you think he has spades. if less than 30% call (as you are getting 2-to-1)
