No read on button other than he's playing with a short stack so he's probably that great. These sorts of hands seem to confuse me a lot, and I tend to misplay them. Thanks for your input.

hes on a short stack and if you call his raise preflop and get this flop then you have to get it all in here. im not calling a check raise from a shorty though with 99 OOP.

His range is huge. I find these shorties will do this with any pair, AK, AQ, maybe even AJ. I put him all in preflop.

And it was a min check raise, you almost had the odds to call against an overpair. Considering his range size, I think its ok to push preflop.

how do you know this. OP said he had no read on him.

second its not a min check raise. its a limp reraise, which is usually indicative of alot of strength at these levels

Fine, it was a min limp reraise.

I am saying based on my past play I have seen alot of these situations. and from these experiences of mine, I have seen AA-1010 less than I have seen coinflips and hands we dominate.

I hate shorties and will put them all in with a very wide range of hands so I can bust them and make room for someone who has 100bbs in their account. Is this -ev, probably. but I can afford it, because when they dont rathole, I end up winning it back.

IMO when i see a limp reminraise, esp from a shorty, hes doing it because he wants you in. not because he wants to get a coin flip AI pf. im not saying he cant have AK or any random 2 overcards. but in my expierence those types of hands are shoved preflop to try and get a fold out of you and if not a fold then at least they are usually coinflipping. i wouldnt be surprised to see a big PP here. just my opinion
