where did I go wrong with this one?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (5 handed) internettexasholdem.com (http://www.internettexasholdem.com)

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

<font color="#C00000">Hero ($20.81)</font>
Button ($6.14)
SB ($3.44)
<font color="#C00000">BB (villian)/ ($7.44)</font>
UTG ($5.77)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.25</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, SB calls $0.23, BB (villian)/ calls $0.20.

Figured my hole cards were worth a good pre flop raise.

Flop: ($0.75) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, T/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">villian bets $0.2</font>, Hero calls $0.20, SB calls $0.20.

SB was very loose and figured he wouldl call making the straight draw approx. feasable.

Turn: ($1.35) A/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">villian bets $0.65</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.5</font>, SB folds, villian calls $0.85.

BINGO! Made my A high straight and decide to raise over villians bet who I am putting on an A.

River: ($4.35) T/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">villian bets $0.5</font>, Hero calls $0.50.

I don't think i need to describe my feelings at this point.

Final Pot: $5.35

Any alternatives to the approach I took with this one?

You need to raise more on the turn I believe, around 2$ at least. His small river bet looks like a donkish value bet with a K for me, scared of an A, but getting almost 10:1 on your money you have to call this, I have no idea though if you're gonna win this more than the required circa 9% of the time, doh.

I think you played it fine, unlucky.

Edit: I fold river tho, no way you are ever good even 5% of the time.

you turn raise is too small. I'd make it at least 2.2
