I think you've gotta call this. Villain could have hit an A for two pair, and his bet is very callable given the size of the pot.

i also think you should call the bet!

there is no flush possible and the bet isn't to big

You have the ignorant end of a straight, he's called the flop bet and he has position, so it's pretty natural that he will call a small sized turn bet. How it has played I would call the river bet.

Personally I would check the Turn with the intention of raising. If he checked and got a free card I would not be too bothered. Also this gives (in higher games) another dimension to your game - as in checking a massive hand!

I just dont like the idea of playing "big" pots out of position!

I call this river. We see two pair enough to make money here.

Hand looks good, I don't think that you should check the turn because:

1. You have a flopped straight and want to get more money in the pot and

2. There are larger str8 and flush draws out that you need to protect against.

You need to call the river getting ~4:1. You'll often see a K for a higher str8 but this could easily be 2 pr/busted FD.

I think you played this hand really nicely.

Call the river considering the bet size is small in comparison to the pot (and he may have trips/2pair) and expect to be good alot of the time.

If he has a K, suck it up and get on with the next hand.

I'd dump 89s pf from UTG+1 personally, but as played it looks fine. Betting through is the right way to go. I'd call such a small bet on the river.

I know this is kind of off of the subject, but could someone tell me the reasons for raising SCs like this? I thought we're supposed to limp them (especially OOP)to induce more callers.
