Not standard against an UTG raiser who just shoved his stack in the middle.

edit: Oops, I read the post wrong. I thought you had AK. Yep, call all day long.

Danny, without a read, I fold QQ to an UTG raiser that shoves his stack here.

The sad part about this hand is that he had QQ, and caught his set on the river.

I swear I'm getting beaten by variance tonight.

thats not the sad part really. you made the right call and got unlucky. now you just tell david sklansy he owes you some sklansky bucks.

dont be results oriented. just make good plays. the cards will fall as they will

although they dont look too kindly on uNL bad beat posts considering a buyin is alot of peoples BB or SB who are there. as a uNL and SSNL player i find its good relief to go there and read a post about someone dropping 75 large in a session and the i dont mind the 3 or 4 buyins i just dropped.

Never ever worry about how the hand played out after the money went in. You got it in as a huge favorite. Obviously, you played it great! Congrats. It sucks to be badbeat, but...

Having a badbeat put on you is going to happen a lot more to players like you as opposed to your opponents, as you are often ahead when the money goes in!

Remember that.

And machine, I do the exact same thing. nh /images/graemlins/wink.gif
