Villain was chatting with his buddy about how hammered he was etc... I had been sweating the table for a while and he seemed pretty loose.

I'm curious about my raise on the flop. More? Less?

flop raise could be bigger, definitely don't make it any smaller

Should've raised preflop if you're gonna play this hand.
He might have AK with the Ac, but I'm not sure what to do here.

I would raise PF from the button the first time around. As played, I would raise to $3ish on the flop. I'd bet the turn as well, you don't want to let a lone club draw for free. Given the action up to the river, I'd call. The push looks more like a bluff than a value bet, and I doubt villain's chat is for metagame at NL 10.
