I checked because it's a pretty crappy river with lots of opponents. Do we call here even though a Q is likely just because it's such a small $2 bet? If the answer is yes, how much should we be willing to call? I think I would have folded to $4 (~3/4ths pot).

Yes, you call this bet every time and twice on Sundays. MP's not going to check-raise this, and you're getting at least 3.5-to-1 odds on the call. He flips over AK, JT, and even worse crap WAY too often to fold this hand. Think of this as a good opportunity to snap off a bluff.

Of course, if you'd bet it yourself ($3-$4 should do nicely), you wouldn't have had this problem.

Meh, you'd really bet into 3 people? A queen seems pretttty likely given the amount of people who called the turn.

One of them checked, so it's unlikely he has one. The other two have shown no interest in this hand other than to call. If I get reraised, I might let it go, but I don't automatically assume someone's got a Q. There's only two left in the deck, after all. These folks seem more than happy to call; let them call once more.

I much prefer checking this river. You can get to showdown for the same price and you can induce a bluff from a worse hand.

You have to call it this bet though.

Yea, I'm pretty much on the same page as you on all streets. Also, I wouldn't criticize you for open limping A9 into 4 opponents. You have to play your cards sometimes.
