against a loose and passive opponent I might consider firing a second barrel in case he was drawing. Bet something like 6 or 7 on the turn. If he calls you shutdown, but I think this is one of the few times you might want to try in microstakes.

By not betting the turn and checking the river you're setting him up to bet here whether he has it or not. That turn is most definitely a blank, fire another barrel and see where you stand.
