Villain is 16/6/5. The only read i have on her is a hand that she played with someone else. Guy raise from UTG and she calls. Flop AsJs9d. Original raiser bets...she reraises he pushes and she folds.

What is someone this tight's range here? QQ-55 and AKso and AQs?

if 55 is in her range then 44 33 and 22 are.. 55 and 22 are identical pretty much when calling a raiser..

I don't think you can fold here...she might have JJ TT and just be raising a probably C-bet w/ her only have 14 left a push is def the best play. if she had 55 44 33 then what ever..

they could have a set or a straight, but would they 3-bet on the flop with those hands? I like the push because any overpair to the board calls.

She gets my money if she has a better hand.

Raise more preflop. 4x BB rather than 3. Preflop MP1 calls with any pocket pair I think, maybe suited connectors (45, 67 would apply here) AQ-AK. Three bet on the flop would scare me. You can forget about Ax making that move. QQ-AA re-raises you preflop. 77-JJ I don't think calls your push. 66 for small overpair + open-ender is probably too marginal for this TAG as well.

With no preflop re-raise, his mostly likely range here is very narrow. 45 for two pair, a set, or 67 for made straight.

from experience at stars 25nl, nits don't raise overpairs on a flop. they raise sets. they will call any bet on any street with an overpair though (unless they were the pfr, in which case, they will raise). wish i was at home so i could post HHs.

On the flop I definitly think you're good, I think you got raised with another overpair, push and you win, until... 10 spike?!!?!

I did raise 4xBB.

An over aggressive player w/ the read i had only has 45, a set and 67s? That's a bit tight and she's already shown she likes to 3 bet the flop. Read ALL of the post lol. That being said though the reason for my push was on the slight chance i was behind i had the two aces and any deuce to draw out with. FWIW villain had 55...

The HH says you raised it TO $1 which means you made a .75 raise which means you raised 3x BB. I'm saying raise to $1.25 total ($1 raise + .25 BB) which makes it a 4x BB raise. I'm not sure how you think you raised 4x BB here...

You are either drawing to 6 outs (when he has a set), you are beat (if he has 67) or you are way ahead. Two pair is very unlikely but also has you beat.

After the raise a fold is out of the question since he's got $14 left and the pot is $22. The money is destined to go in because he'd be betting $14 to win $36 and must have a hand that is good for these odds given his actions. I'd play it the same and hope to see an overpair.

That is raising to 4x BB... Just not X 1 for every limper.

How many hands on the villain? Look at the AF. Perhaps just cold decked. A raise on AsJs9 board can be a lot of things that fold to a push.
