88 on a 333 board with 4 players in a raised pot

Original raiser was 28/17/3 and had been raising all the time.

This hand worked out for me this time but I don't think that my raise on the flop was good. But what do you do when you are in a situation like this? I don't want to give free cards with 3 other players in the pot. At the same time if my raise gets called here am I usually in bad shape? I am worried about 99-JJ possibly but I could be up against a smaller pair. Advice please thanks.

I would probably 3-bet PF with this read, however I dont really mind play the hand IP. The flop raise seems fine considering the villian.

Well I think thats fine. MP is kinda aggressive so he could bet that pot with a wide range. I like your raise here.
If MP pushes you have a hard decision but its really read dependant then...

but how much of a factor are the other two players in the pot beside myself and the OR?

I like the raise but I think a raise to ~10 gets the job done. The other players make me more likely to raise as this hand is very vulnerable and they are unlikely to have a higher PP.
