I felt bad after giving this one up. Button has been rather aggressive for say 20 hands.

I would bet 4$ on the turn and try to pick up the pot on the turn. Just trying to avoid the situation of the overcard (like the A) hitting on the river. I think you can be confident that you have the best hand on the turn and the button should be folding two overs to a pot size bet.

Fold PF.

Bet more on the flop.

If you check the turn, bet the river for sure (like 1/2 pot). You want him to look you up with 55-77. If he has a better 8, you split, so that's no problem. If he has the A, make a note that he floats. I would only consider checking the river if there was a high enough chance that he would bluff off the A with other overs that he might float with (something that requires a read, IMO).

Bit of a caveat though... this assumes that you bet enough on the flop to chase away overs often enough, which may not be the case here.

I would've folded the turn too, but on second thought I really like this line
