I'm a 1/2 player, usually 3 tables.
My variance over 81K hands is 13.85BB/100 hands.
When I seperate my pokeroom aliases (about 30K hands) it shows my variance at 19.28BB/100. At first I thought it was nothing. Just a product of a tiny 10K sample size, yet the number has stayed up there.
Pokeroom also used to be my best site as far as BB/100hands(used to hang around 2BB/100) now it has dropped to 1.25BB/100. Party is now my best at 1.91BB/100 over 35K hands.
This doesnt bother me, I'll recover from the poor run I've been having on pokeroom over the last 10K hands like I always do, but that variance just stays up there. Does anyone notice anything similar? What could some reasons be? It seems like such a weird thing to experience, but the numbers dont lie.
Now all in all, I can't complain. Pokeroom has been good to me combining the bonuses I've cleared and my table winnings. Whenever I sit down for a pokeroom session though, I now think "Oh boy, crazy time."
As far as the rest of my numbers, they are pretty much the same from site to site, my VP$IP is around 16 or 17%. W$atSD is around 54% on all sites combined, and pokeroom its just under 53%. I'm not sure what other numbers I might include.
Maybe it will settle down. And I guess when it boils down to it, as long as I remain a winning player there its no biggie. I'm still just miffed by that variance, almost 20BB/100 hands just seems so high.
Any thoughts?
