Hiya guys! This is the first hand which I really need some help with and that could be interesting to know if you think I played right.

UTG $1.96
UTG+1 $1.59
Hero $2.05
Button $1.91
SB $1.97
BB $4.02
SB posted the small blind - $0.01
BB posted the big blind - $0.02

Dealing card to Hero: K/images/graemlins/club.gif, Queen/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

UTG folded
UTG+1 called - $0.02
Hero raised - $0.08
Button called - $0.08
SB folded
BB folded
UTG+1 called - $0.08

Flop: 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 9/images/graemlins/club.gif, 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif ($0.27)

UTG+1 bet - $0.02
Hero called - $0.02
Button called - $0.02

Turn: Jack/images/graemlins/diamond.gif ($0.33)

UTG+1 checked
Hero checked
Button bet - $0.08 ($0.41)
UTG+1 called - $0.08 ($0.49)
Hero called - $0.08 (49/8=6.125 makes 5-1 odds?)

I counted as if I had 4 Ts', 3 Ks' and maybe 3 Qs' since these guys have been on a roller coaster since I came and they called with a lot of crap cards. So I countes 10 out. 46/10=4,6 So I figured I'd get odds for the call, was that the right play?
I didn't think about Implied, but I usually get a small extra bet in there on the river.

River: T/images/graemlins/club.gif

UTG+1 went all-in - $1.41
Hero called - $1.41
Button called - $1.41

UTG+1 shows: 8 of Diamonds, Queen of Hearts
Hero shows: King of Clubs, Queen of Diamonds
Button mucks: Jack of Clubs, 3 of Clubs

Hero wins $4.56 from the main pot

you'd even get good enough odds here if you only had an inside straigth draw with no overcards.

But if you raise PF you should do a c-bet a lot of times. Just ignore those kind of silly donkminbets (UTG bets 0.02 in a 0.27 pot) and bet something like 0,20 on the flop.

Bet the pot on the flop, and reraise allin on the river.

I think you had 9 outs tops here though, cause it really seems like someone is on a draw on the turn.

so 3 tens 3 kings and 3 queens

19% chance you flop one of these cards, 0,08 in a 0.50 pot is 16%, this isn't fully accurate but it doesn't matter because you will probably get paid big when you flop your straight.

Thanks for the confirmation /images/graemlins/smile.gif

The reason to why I didn't bet hard on the flop is that I am very aggressive and I have been stealing a lot of flops with just a small pair or non paired ace when I'm in position and such.
That's why I just called this one while I finally had a good chance of getting a good turn-card like king or queen.

You missed a chance for another raise on river too I think.

I'm not sure if I lost or gained. At the moment I called, I figured the other guy would fold since two callers were already in it.
If I'd raise, I'd raise someone that is all in already, there fore he would almost certainly fold since I show great strength that way.

But maybe he would call and I'd earn a little extra.. Who know! /images/graemlins/grin.gif
