History with villain was last BB v SB battle he limped and I raised with rags like A4 or something, then he led on the flop into me and I raised with air, he folded. Might be a little frustrated. There are four players.

My thought process here was villain is dead on the turn, but river seemed to change that - even though villains at this level never seem to check-raise the river, I guess I should have processed that he had a K? But I guess an A is in his range too. It's also possible he had a 5 the way he led the turn and I made a bad fold? I was hoping to just suck more value out of him on the river but clearly the river counterfitted my hand.. right?

matthewgun has 18.40, I cover.

I'd raise more on the flop and turn. You have a big hand and he seems interested in contesting the pot, go for value.

What hands did you put him on that you expected to call your river value bet?

I think he has KQ, KJ or something like that, maybe one lonely ace. You win!

What hands beats you? AA, AK, K5. That's three hands, right? And what hands could he have that does not beat you?
KQ, KJ, QJ (missed straight?), any King that makes three of a kind.
Maybe he though you were betting for the spade flush?

I'd definitely call.

I honestly didn't think about putting him on a hand on the river considering he checked to me and I see a river C/R NEVER at this level, so I figured he could be dumb enough to call with any PP above fives, an of course any Ax hand he might hold. Of course he could also call with some J5, Q5 type hands that he might complete with. But I'd also expect him to raise these. Him C/R completely surprised me
