All right, I'm finding myself stuck on an equation for my course in analytical mechanics. It looks like:
d^2*u/dt^2 = k * u
I can't seem to remember how I get from here to an equation for u(t). Any help?

e ^ ((k^.5)t)
in ascii, its easier to write it:
f''(x)=K*f(x)
