River call is fine as played.

Bet more on flop, close to pot. Bet on turn. It is likely that he is just drawing here, or your could get more money out of his AQ.

slick,
WTF? At most he's drawing to 7 outs.
A couple have said to bet more on the flop, but you bet $12 into a $13.75 pot. I prob do much the same. Why did you check behind on the turn?

First of all the pot is not 13.75, it says 20.
Second, I don't think the flop bet is terrible. I probably would have bet a little bit more though around 14-15. There is really no reason to pot the flop in a reraised pot on this dry of a board. That river bet is really weak, I would be tempted to push, but with no reads I'm not sure if he just calls us with a lone Q here.

I knew there was a reason I was staying off the tables with this headache! Yes. . . the pot was $20. I guess I would have to agree that I woulda bet this flop a little more, prob in the $16-17ish range. I missed a call when I first looked at the hand and added up the bets as oppossed to looking at what the converter had right in front of me. I made a good choice in not playing tonight.

You are ahead, get the money in as soon as possible. As played, folding the river would be a cardinal sin. If you are inducing bluffs/value bets from weaker hands, you have to call.

River seems like a blocking bet to me? Just to see if his AQ is good?

Anyone like a check flop pot turn & river line as a variation? AQ pays this off every time, plus a lot of pocket pairs.
as played I think the flop bet is a little to small but once called I dont mind the turn check as long as the intention is to make a reasonable bet on the river, the river blocking bet is a bitch and this is one of the few spots where it is effective but you cant raise this.

Don't you guys think it was suspicious that villain cold called a 3bet PF, then called my cbet on the flop with 1 to act after him?
