Does anybody know how many players the freerolls have been drawing?

FT took 4-5 days to answer me this one, 247 players January.
Iron Man, that is.

i didnt qualify for any medals last month, but im sure i did this month - how do you choose and where do you go to see yr medals, etc? do they send an email or does it just pop up in your cashier page or something?

KingMedicine, you need to click the "Cashier" button in the main lobby, then click "My Promotions." This will take you to your "My Promotions" page where you can do various things like Refer a Friend, check your Tournament Leaderboard status, and, most relevant to this thread, check your Iron Man status.

The first time you visit your Iron Man page you'll be prompted to choose between the freeroll, getting bonus medals, or opting out of the promotion all together.

You have to opt into the Iron Man Challenge before the end of the month, so you better hurry. There's only 10.5 hours left!

MGR deduction from freerolls= total $$prize pool/# of entrants
Bonus Medals depend on what you buy..Bonuses are deducted in the same fashion as sign up and reload...I believe in an earlier thread FTDDOUG/SEAN said that did not believe tourney tickets affected MGR...But did not know fore sure at that time and recommended contacting either FTP affiliate department or your affiliate...

I qualified for the Iron man 'freeroll'. With the number of players posted by HavanaBanana it means I'm actually paying 30K/156*.27=$51 to enter the 'freeroll'.

What's the point of the promotion when you still have to pay for the tournament you have qualified for by playing day in day out?

edit:

should think before I post. Of course there is still an overlay of 73%, which is nice, but still.

Personally I like the medals better considering playing against players who make iron man status doesn't really sound that great to me. For people that have played ... Are there many of those players not actually competing or sitting out?

Maybe 10%, And honestly you have to be pretty dumb not to play it, last time the EV was almost $200 (less 27% if you have rakeback) so lets say $140, $20 worth of medals , you chose.

I think some posters here are saying they want medals to make others not play /images/graemlins/wink.gif
