View Full Version : Bigger Tightwads at microtakes than small stakes?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

Does anyone who has played both find that players are generally tighter at the micro stakes - NL.25 & .50 as opposed to 1/2 and 2/4??

Seems like a ton of check-calling and/or check-folding if there's the slightest inclination they're beat. Very minimal floating and/or shoving weak.

Maybe it's just a small sample size of the rooms I've been in in the last day or so.

I think they're more weak-tight, but not tighter as a whole. I've only played NL 25, 50, 100, but as I go up each level, i find players are way more agressive post-flop. I don't think they're tighter at lower levels though

Yes people are weaker at uNL than SSNL .... duh ...
