Just sat down so no reads, but I usually don't give alot of credit to people with under 3/4 of a buy-in...

Regardless, should I fire this turn, or check behind for pot control?

Against unknown I'm generally betting (80% of the time), half to 2/3 pot. Things that change this: villain has history of jamming on signs of weakness. This may cause me to either check hoping for a big river bluff or bet pot, depending on how likely I think he might also jam a checked turn with a hand that beats TP. Against a tight passive player who will call down with monsters, I might check or bet 1/3 or even 1/4 if they are very passive, to keep the pot manageable. Against a TAG or other aggressive player who I don't think bluffs often enough to make calling a big river bluff +ev I might also check behind for pot control and to avoid getting bluffed off the pot.

NOTE: I don't know how correct my thinking is and am posting this in the hopes of getting called out where it is not.

I'd bet it here, unless you don't want to play for his entire stack. He's shortstacked, he'll call w/ worse aces.

Think you you should definitely bet it and see what happens.
If you get c/r then you have a decision to make. Then i'd probably fold. You probably take this down most of the time with a bet.

IMO this is a very wet board plus he will call with some worse aces. Easy bet.
