Still alive, with 55000.

The night before the ME, I played single table satellite $1060 and took a bad beat down to One $100 chip when 8 players left (30000 chips in play). I ended up winning the table and got a seat.

Day 1,
I was in the tent till 8pm. I came to table 37 with 10000 chips, where Issac Haxton was on my immediate left. He's a very nice guy and we talked a lot while not in the hand. I ended day 1 with 27850.

Day 2,
I lost 12500 in the first hand of day 2. Then I lost another 4000 with 88. I limp in QTs from the button and flop J98r. QQ bets and calls I all-in. Turn T, we chop. After that, I bust two short stacks and up to 30000. After dinner break, I had 80000.

I busted Isabelle Mercier and took her 36000. I had 120,000in the last level.

20 minutes before the end of the day, I took a bad beat. LP moves in for 40000 with Q2o. I called with AQo and the board was Q2JK8. After that I lost 2 hands and down to 55000.

Coming to Day 3, I have 20 bb. Need a lot of luck!

GL sir. I went out early on day two. Being card dead at aggressive tables with the captains behind you playing at you every time you enter a pot sucks.

Im still in, 74800...tough day today...posted some hands on my blog (http://smaz.blogspot.com)

Tough day today, played with "Bodog Ari" for most of the day. Didnt really play many big pots, except for my KK vs AA. Going back tomorrow to 1k-2k, 300 going to need some luck.

GL Walker,
I disagree with a lot of your plays but that does not mean that I am not rooting for you. Take it town bro.

I also hope that I can hear more about this hand:

You open limped the button? Did QQ raise out of the blinds or had it limped in EP? Did you get it all in on the flop?

Did you limp in EP with AQo here and get it in on the flop or did you raise in LP preflop and Q2o pushed on you thinking that you were stealing? Blinds were only 300/600 at this point... how the heck could someone get it in pf with Q2 for 40,000 chips?

GL in day three.

Thanks.

Actually, I was LP in that hand.
400/800/100, UTG limps. MP is Daniel Negreanu's protege Anthony Mak. I saw him limped in KK/AA before. He limps. I feel the blinds woulnd't make move after all these limpers. I look down QTs, a very good drawing hand in multi-way pots and decided to play this hand. I limp, I think I had 12K or so. Blinds complete. Flop 98Jr. Checks to Anthony who bets 2000. I smoothly call hoping someone also calls from behind and shove on the turn. All fold. Turn T. He bets 3000. I didn't like the turn but I don't think KQ would be there on the flop and I put him on AA/KK. For KK, 3 outers there would kill my hand - I move all for 10k or so. He calls with QQ. River blank - Daniel cheered from behind!

The bad beat hand - 800/1600/200. One limper who had 120K. I had about 125K, 2nd CL at the table. villain had 40K and paused for 1 second and moved in from LP. Anthony Mak folds. I called with AQo. UTG mucks. Villain turned over Q2o. 2 was in the window and villain laughed for 10 minutes.

(After the hand, I took a 3 minute break. Commerce floorman came over, he told me to remember I won the seat with one chip. It's not the worst I've seen at this table.)

BTW, QTs is the hand I had when I busted AC on ATQr board in that $1500NL 3-FTs two weeks ago.

Still hang in there. 105K.

Started Day 3 with 55K. In the first level of the day, as usual, I busted two short stacks and doubled up from CL. Sitting at over 170K for hours. Reached 280K closing to the bubble. I doubled up a short stack and down to 105K.

Coming to Day 4 is my favorite part - short stack doubling into final table.

Shan Jing Takes a Pot From Prahlad Friedman

Jason Strasser raises to $13,000 preflop and gets calls from both Prahlad Friedman and Shang Jing. The flop comes 10d8h4d and it checked to Friedman, who bets $30,000. Jing moves all in for $56,500 and Strasser folds. After a few minutes, Friedman makes the call and shows Js10s. Jing is behind with his 10c6c but the 6d on turn gives Jing two pair and the lead. The Kc helps neither player and Jing doubles up.

Is this your double-up hand? A bit lucky here /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Good job. Keep it going!

Yes. It's my second suck out in this tournament. A lot of luck!

I was the BB. 9000 more to call PF. On the flop, Friedman's bet to me indicated a weak hand,99 or flush draw. I have the tighest image at this table whole day. I moved in for 86500. 56500 more for him to call. He said he needed 4:1 to call, but it's 3:1 for his money. I understand it's big pot and he couldn't let it go.

Sorry, Prahlad, I got lucky this time. It's a sick "chris moneymaker" play.

Actually Prahlad owns me one big pot - first level of the day, I UTG raise 5BB 10000 with JJ with 50K behind. Prahlad's on the button made it 30000 with 100K behind. BB pushes for 13000. The only play for me was to push. He could reprensend over pair and the best is against two over. It's too early to gamble with all my chips, I mucked JJ. He showed AKs and took down the pot with just Ace high.

The worst thing in my new table is sitting on the right of CL Paul Warsicka. I couldn't make a move for bubble steal and blinded over 100K chips! So sick!

Now, Jason knows my 2p2 ID. Can't hide anymore. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

This is unreal, we all know strassa is going to win, but I was looking for how PartyPSux is doing(to antisweat obviously), and I know his name is JC. Of the like 50 remaining people, we have:

J.C. Tran

Juan Carlos Alvarado

Joseph Cordi

Jay Chang

Coincidence? I think not.

Shan Jing Eliminated 17th ($58,470)

Paul Wasicka raises to $80,000 from the cutoff, Eric Hershler makes the call from the button and Shan Jing pushes all in for a total of $240,000 from the big blind. Wasicka pushes all in and Hershler mucks. Wasicka flips over AK while Jing shows 44. The board comes the K6592 eliminating Shan Jing in 17th place.

/images/graemlins/frown.gif What a run anyway! Good luck, Sir!

Thanks!

I passed one major opportunity in Day 4 (yesterday) to reach 1m in chips - when Joe Awada moved in for 165K after UTG 3Bet (30K) PF, I should move in/or at least call. I had 750K or so. UTG folded and Joe showed AKo. He later asked me how serious I was to make the call, I told him I was close to push if UTG wasn't that deep. (I had 88 and knew he had AK/AO)

================================================== =
It's nice to play with Jason Strasser,Issac Haxton and Juan Alvarado at the same table. (Juan owes me a re-steal during bubble period, I knew my AQo was good.)

Looking forward to meeting you three and all other 2+2ers at tournament tables again!
