Any reads on villain?

You might be facing a set here and are giving your money away unless you have an indication that villain will push all-in with a draw (flush or straight).

Allthough if he had a set he prob would not push as he would like you to stay in the hand and continue betting.

Some players like to push with a draw - hoping that you fold and if you dont they have a decent chance of drawing out on you.

If you dont mind some varience - call. You might lose this time but will win some back another day.

IMO, flop call is fine, but raise more pre-flop (~$4).

Villain had 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

I don't understand why you would call a raise of ~8BB with that. But maybe I'm missing something here.

I'll put that down to the poker variance /images/graemlins/smile.gif
