There were a couple solid players at the table, but the villain here I didn't have a read on.

How's the turn line? Too fast?

turn is fine, once he checkraises the turn he's going nowhere most of the time

A re-raise ist quite unusual play by Villain - if he had a higher flush than you he might just call.

This looks like he was trying to find out whether you were bluffing or not. Maybe he hit his A or had a Qx twopair.

I wouldn't had re-raised here, though. I was too afraid he might have Kx of diamonds, or even Jx or Tx. There are too many cards to beat me in that situation so I'd rather hope to see a cheap showdown.

Please explain to me why I might be mistaken, I'm honestly curious because I sometimes feel I'm playing too cautious in those situations.

I'd put him on a higher flush when he checkraises you. I probably wouldn't fold but I wouldn't re-raise either.

with deep stacks I don't wanna be playing for stacks with this flush.

I'd call the turn c/r - and call his river bet (even if he pushes tho I wouldn't be happy about it)

100BB in she goes - but not 200BB - I want a much more solid hand - there are just as many flushes out there that beat you - we don't have a read yet that villain likes to play any2 suited so the higher flushes are a little more likely I think.

Hero is not "out of line" I think preflop and flop are standard.

Sometimes I call his re-raise on river.. and sometimes I'll just push.. depends on the situation really. I'd just push here, think you played it fine.
