Stats for villian over 100 hands are: 22%/8%/2.0. I have in my notes that he was willing to go AI PF w/ 44.

Anybody have any suggestions for this hand? Did I play it perfectly?

I'd try for a valuebet against a scared pocket pair. I have no problems releasing this hand against a massive raise. Altho I think he has something like KK/QQ where he has the K/Q of clubs as one of the cards. Mebbe even JJ.

The flop bet _smacks_ of that! High club + made-ish hand!

Just cos he wanted to go AI w/ 44 preflop doesnt mean he plays his MASSIVE hands like this!

Given he limp called preflop I severely doubt JJ-KK are in his range of flop holdings.

For OP: I'd probably take the same line although I'm not mad keen about it, guess I just dislike the other options more.

Actually after a long look I'm with checking down AJc AQc AKc are all possible holdings, plus all the Ace's that made 2p. Yeah you played it well!

He didn't limp-call, he just flat called from the SB. The CO folded to the donk bet on the flop.
