Villain is 27/16/1.5 over 194 hands, not much of a donk. I cbet this right, since TT, AK, and AQ are often in villain's 3bet range preflop. Shut down when met with resistance?

Let's see, you have no odds to play for set (and you don't need to play for set).....wtf is MP doing???

I check to BTN, he fires $9 with whatever he has and then I c/r AI.

I didn't know if he made such a play before and with what a hand.

But you can easy lay behind a AA, KK, QQ if you think his Preflop 3-Bet range contains AKs or o / AQs or o you should Bet on the Flop (dont give a free shot for the nut flush). After you got re-raised (if he did not make this play before) fold. Or if he made this all the time - push all in.

How about checking behind and calling a bet?
If we check and BUTTON bets we can olso see what MP does.
If we C-BET , BUTTON calls and MP reraises all in then we are [censored].

that is true, but if we don't bet here, aren't we giving away the pot, surely the preflop aggressor is going to bet if checked to. what does calling a bet achieve? we will more than likely have to face a bigger bet on the turn. i'm not sure wat to do here.

k heres tha deal...
u want to check to him so he fires a cbet with hands we beat. such as AK or AQ or wutever else. so u check call the flop. then on the turn if we dont improve we can check fold if he fires another bet as u r surely behind because i doubt he EVER fires 2 barrels in this spot with n e worse hands. but this way if u r ahead u get more value.
