Flopped top pair. Opp is passive, I had no guts to put pressure on him. Should I had to?
My intention was to call him down, but then river bring an overcard on the board.

Any comments? Should I call him anyway?

An AF of 4 is not passive but very aggressive. The board is very dry so he is not betting a draw like this. The turn bet looks weak, so the call is good, imo. The river card is ugly and villain might just have hit his 2nd pair or TP. I think you can't call 3 streets here.

Would re-raising be better on the flop?

Depends. If you reraise, the pot is going to be huge and you are oop against an aggressive player. This is often a very nasty spot with only TP. I only raise here, if I think that I have good fold equity. If I think he is raising light, I like calling down and letting him bluff away his stack better. That is a little inconsistend with my advice to fold on the river. But that river card is just a little too ugly and the bet a little too big after the weakish turn bet.

Genz, if you reraise it isnt a problem if hero is OOP, he is a shortstack anyway and getting it all in with TPTK vs a aggresive player is a good thing. So just shove flop imho.
