Hi, I had this hand today with a very loose player to my left. The board texture is loose passive.

I have seen the Villain raise all in twice in the one orbit before this hand.

My questions are
1. should I have raised more pre-flop to stop him from raising all in?
2. would you have called his raise?
if so, why? (pot equity, board texture etc etc)

You should make it at least $1.50 to clean up the limpers/value, and absolutely call Allin preflop, the fact that you lost this hand makes no difference

Raise more PF, usually 4BB + 1 per limper - so 8BB/$2. I would recommend to never fold KK pf w/ a very strong read and I would call his AI every time. In the future don't post the results (so in this hand only post the preflop action).

You need a very strong read to fold KK pf 100bb deep. A lot of people on this forum advocate never folding KK pf for 100 bb. Make it $2 pf and and TJ is right about 4BB+l per limper. Against someone you have never played against before or what we call an "unknown" felt KK pf every single time.

Don't minraise preflop. You will end up in a multiway pot that is kind of big and KK doesn't fare too well in these spots. And you are giving away value. Make it a big HU pot. After that, easy call.

As a side note: Don't be results orientated.
