If you are prepared to call a push pre-flop, which in most situations you should be, then I think you should push yourself after his 3-bet. This way you might fold out some lower pocket pairs. This gives you more profit than flipping against them.

Your raise is fine but I would just call his reraise and see a flop. When you face his push try to consider

his potential holdings:
TT-QQ: he is a slight favourite
KK-AA: not what you want to see
AK: split pot
AT-AQ: very good spot

Letīs assume that he has one of these holdings. Then you are giving yourself the odds to call both of his raises.

Please try to add reads to your posts.. Did your villian push for the first time or does he reraise with every two face cards and pp?? How did the table play so far?

The problem here is that at this level you will fold out nothing at all.

I don't mind getting it in with AK for 60 BBs, but at this level it may be more profitable to see a flop and outplay him post flop.

No.
Call the first reraise and see a flop - you only have an ace high hand.
After the villains raise to $6.1 - fold.
He almost certainly has a high PP

I take it you don't agree.

Opponent's range after the big raise is something like...
AK .... a tie
AQ..... 70% fav if he's that loose.
AA..... about an 8% chance
KK..... 25% or so to win
JJ/QQ.. 45% to win
%ages are approx - off the top of my head, but you can't like pot odds of under 1.5:1 with that range.
Appreciated, AA and KK are less likely than QQ as you hold one of each card, but you can't write off the possibility.

For 60BB I would definitely call with AK, this is 120BB though and I don't really like a call here without a read that villain is very aggressive preflop. Most players even at this level are either flipping with you or well ahead after this action and there's not that much money in the pot before he pushes. Calling is not a big mistake though but it's close.
