SB checks, Hero???

Should I have raised more on the flop (maybe to $23 or so)?
As played, what's my plan on the turn - do I just push and pray, or is there a better plan of action?

23 would definitely have been better than 17 for values sake, because if he is calling 17, hes definitely calling 23.

as for the turn .. u have to figure, what is he checkraising u w/ on the flop that can call your big reraise, yet wasnt good enough to 3bet pf?

lets see the possible hands ...
99, q10, j9, kq, kj, nfd, 8Tdd (probly shoves flop though)... i dont really think theres much that u beat anymore at this point, maybe my list is lacking, but your hand isnt particularly strong on this board. any T at this point beats u, adn most of the hands that he could have called u w/ on the flop that were behind are now beating u. definitely dont push and pray, i think checking and folding is probably best. (since he checked turn, he probably doesnt have a T, i suppose u could attempt to represent it, but u have to be fairly sure that he will even fold if u bet since your hand is mostly a bluff at this point (unless u make a king or jack on the river)).

Pot the flop. This turn spot sucks. Check behind. Fold to river bet if /images/graemlins/diamond.gif or unless it's really small. check behind again otherwise if checked to.
