I have gotten into the habit of posting a note on my monitor above my screen with a small phrase that will help me lose a bad habit.
Right now it says:
Poker 101
I lose more money when I try and do something clever, take it too far, and next thing I know I lose a big pot and some face. I believe that playing basic poker - i.e. Poker 101 - should be more profitable in the long run at the level I play regardless if I sometimes can get away with a "move.".
What do you have above your monitor and why?
"How are you going to make money on this hand?"

Mine say:
--------
LEAD THE FLOP, MORON!
Current leaks:
-Marriage to premium hands
-FPS
-Bluffing SSNL is -EV!
-Don't call raises with marginals OOP
-Don't be results-oriented
-------------
And:
-------
Fastplaying: Builds pot, makes money, gives incorrect odds for opponents to draw
Slowplaying: They outdraw you, doesn't build pot

Don't bluff calling stations.
(and the corollary, find out who the calling stations are as fast as possible)
"Don't wack it while you play poker."

"Don't be greedy"
I'm prolly going to add "calling station or maniac?" to try to force myself to make better reads.

I actually do have this note on my monitor -
Stop, slow down, think. Replay the hand in your head. Calm your mind. Make a good decision. Breathe. Take your time. Even if the right move seems obvious!

mine is in a text document that I have open at all times to track my play and it says:
#1 Lesson: You are never required to play a big pot.
#2 Lesson: Cbets should be between 50-100% potsized
#3 Lesson: There is good value in betting into opponents who have missed draws or whiffed garbage, if you can reliably put them on that hand.
