BB is like 55/2.8/9.0 over about 100 hands

My thought was to play HU vs shorty or 3 way with all the decisions made.

Should I want to play it differently and why?

Well, if you flat call, you're OOP for the rest of the hand if BB calls (stats suggest he won't raise). The reason you wouldn't push is because if BB calls, he's doing it with a better hand. I think just calling here entices a call from BB and then you can push the flop.

No, you are really not looking to play postflop with AK oop, it is a great hand (unless AA or KK, very unlikely as you hold two of them), that is at worst 50-50, there is an overlay and I would prefer to flip here having their ranges crushed. (I used to play sng's you know /images/graemlins/wink.gif )

Nh. With stats like that the BB cold call doesnt scare me at all. There's a nice overlay in the pot and you will have the best hand here a good bit vs shorty. I like it.

yeah, AK is all in or fold here.
You don't want to call 1/5 stack here and fold if you don't improve on the flop. Also, BB will fold QQ etc if you hit the flop.

Well done.
