They are basically meaningless. The only thing you can use them for is to enter some huge freeroll with a thousand other players. Even if you come in first, you don't win any money, you get paid in credits that you can use to enter other tournaments (seriously).

The past two years at the end of the year you could buy bonuses with your points.

This past year you had the option to cash them in for some money. Why not use them for freeroll or multi table tournies/yiou can enter freerolls for tournie credits
