Villain is 22/15/3.5. Assuming that he isn't playing back light (he just sat down), what hands are we calling with here? PP and AK? Should I be considering a call with AQ/KQ?

How many hands do you have on him? Assuming he is a thinking tag he would probably not play back light with the position he is in. It probably comes down to what image you have against him.

only hands I call 3bets with are:

AK, QQ, JJ and AA
Other PPs depending on stacks
KK if 3bettor is a nit

KQ is def. not a good idea: no matter how you look at it you're dominated/crushed.
AQ is also a no-no for domination purposes but not as bad as KQ

Probably around 500 hands. My stats run at 23/18/3 right now. I really doubt he's playing back at me, so should I be seeing a flop, or waiting for a better spot?

If you don't think he's playing back at you, then absolutely muck it.
