make the flop bet closer to pot

turn fold looks ok. I see a lot of JT and J9 here.

Looks like you are toast on the turn...but you only have $14 more to put in so you are getting 6.6:1 odds. Your only choices are:
1. Puke then call
2. Call then puke

No. This is a fine bet, they're mostly gonna have pairs here. JT/J9? Are you really calling a reraise with these hands? If you are, please sit at my tables.

OP I play it the same, but call off the rest of your stack and whine about JJ.

how bad is checking the turn?

Actually, I misread the HH.. it was the cold-caller that is still in the hand.. I really like checking this turn.. I may give up on the turn because it's really likely that it hit him (every midpair got there).

I would call the turn bet and spike a 9 for a split.

yeah, my nitstinct tells me to give up on this turn

CO has a smaller PP most of the time, unless you have a read he smoothcalls with QQ+/AK, he has implied odds given satck sizes

Nah I'm more WTight here than you /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I c/fold the turn, only hand on the flop that I legitimately beat is 99 drawing in CO's range. All other's are sets, only QQ and KK we beat.

Of course if villan got his stack and is a bad player I play it the same and reluctantly fold the turn with 40$ more behind likely going in on the river.

I used to v. rarely fold AA in a 3bet pot, now I will occasionally if I think I'm smoked & deep and here i think is one of those scenarios.

I think you played it fine, except I bet 10-12 on the flop, we want to discourage drawers.

I agree with munkey about potting the flop. Needs to be more. Im c/f this turn as well. If he bluffs me off the best hand occasionally, so be it.

I'm on the nittier side for what that's worth. The problem with your hand is that it is very marginal given the texture. I don't love the idea of throwing in 40BB's on the turn with your hand which is now basically a bluff. I'm in the c/f camp.
