Villian's numbers were 85/7/1.1.

Do I bet this turn? I was so afraid of being check raised with a weird two pair, I felt I should just check it to control the size of the pot. From a few hands ago, he loved to over bet the pot/all in whenever he made the nuts on the river so I was prepared to fold to this.

What about the value bet?

don't be, you're losing value. If he has you beat more power to him

This flop bet looks like a blocker to me to hit his draw...
The six on the turn actually changes nothing so go ahead and let him pay for his draw.

If he played QJ and hit his straight on the river... Stupid he didnt raise you

I have to second this.

Don't be afraid of being checkraised against this kind of opponent. If you are checkraised, you're hand is dust and can easily be thrown away. But way more often he will call you down with a worse hand. Your valuebet on the river would have been bigger if you valueplayed the turn here.

Seeing so many people willing to go broke on a pair warms my heart /images/graemlins/smile.gif
