Villian is LAG: 40/20/3. Another hand I played against him I flopped TPTK OOP on a KJT flop. I cbet $3 and he raised to $9 with KT. Turn brought a 9 and it was checked down.

Since you have no /images/graemlins/club.gif I would just call his flop bet and try to get to showdown cheaply. A call will be just as scary to him if he doesn't have the flush and you can bail out if you sense that he wants to play for stacks here.

Why can't villian have AQ or A10? I'm pushing here. If he has flush, you have ten outs. It's very unlikely he has a boat here.

I figured out a range that include a whole whack of somewhat reasonable flushes and fed it through PT. With this range, I can call the turn provided I fold the river without hitting a boat (which I definately won't do). With this equity, pushing losing money. Math aside, I also think a flush is more likely than trips, especially considering I have the A as well.

[/ QUOTE ]Because we arent sure he has a flush or not. In this position you want to show it down but you want to do it for cheap. You want to minimize your losses rather than gambling, unless you have a very clear read.
