I have been pretty agro at this stable, villian is running 16/12, I made this same play at the table with a fd in a r.r pot pf about 15 mins before.

Do you guys like this play of shoving on the flop trying to rep a big fd, or is a flat call the best play here?

I'm not even sure what you're asking.

Depends on what you do with your FDs -- since you push them, then yes, certainly do the same with near-nut hands.

EDIT: Plus, if he has a big ace he'll go with it, if not, there aren't many cards that will improve him to second best & few players 2-barrel with a non-ace hand on this board.

well, does the table KNOW you did this w/ a fd 15 minutes earlier? that makes a difference. if you've benn aggro and pushing/raising lots of flops this is good. also, you dont have trips

you played it fine, if he doesn't have AT+/AA/22 he's not calling any raise and w/o any of those hands he's not going to fire again on the turn.

I'm inclined to take a pot sized raise the flop and get it all in on the turn. If it club hits the turn all the better, just hope he's picked up a redraw to the river, it's all going in then for sure /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Or a flat call and then the same as above. I vary it between the two depending on what I think is the best way is to get the cash and reads and stuff.
