Villain is a LAG. (47/17/2 over 140H) But not the thinking type. He's just playing too many hands, going way too far with them.

I saw him opening OTB for 3BB w/42s- BB called. He bet the KQ4f, Bet 1/2P at a blank turn, and fired again on a J river.

How's my Turn check?
What's our plan for the river.
How about making a blocking bet on the turn? How about the river?

Fold preflop.

This is generally not a good hand I like to play OOP. However, I think the rest of your line is fine. He bet more than half the pot on his turn bet and this flop probably hit his limping range pretty hard. I would call the turn and check the river and see what he does, folding to a big enough bet.

Looks good, I think check/calling the turn and river is fine against a loose agressive player like this. Blocking bets dont really accomplish anything here, if he got something really good he'll raise you anyway and if not youre only stopping him from bluffing at you.
