Full stacks at 6max, utg min raises to $4 I pop him to $18 with KK.

A loose player calls behind me in LP and the min raiser folds.

Flop 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif

I bet $30 into $40 and he min raises to $60.

How easy of a stack off is this?

Don't you love not having reads?

Assuming stack sizes are 100BB:

Assign a range {99-66,AA-TT,combo draw}. Its a 3bet pot preflop so put a greater emphasis on the AA-TT holdings.

Usually I don't want to push here if I think I can get JJ-TT to stack off on a safe turn and I think they'll fold to a flop push. The board is wet so on the turn a 7,K,Q,J,T, heart or an A is what we fear (not necassarily because it will put us behind, but it may also kill our action). If you call this min-raise you will have $122 in your stack and there will be 140 in this pot. Too much to fear on the turn, too little left behind, felt the flop. Its rarely an easy stack off but unless you have a read that says otherwise I think you'd be wise to do so.

Thx guys, just wanted to check after having a rubbish session (W%SD of 23% *puke*).

Well the guy was a loosey (40/20 type or something) but only hand about 30 hands.

Seeing as he called a large preflop raise I thought his range was weighted more premium hands (TT-AA) and less to low suited connectors.. but this time he showed up with 89s.

did the cold caller push?

if so, with a read, i could find a fold. But normally, no

if the UTG pushed, I call 100%

I didn't need to call the all-in, I lead flop for 30, got min raised to 60, then I shoved.
