So, assuming ill hit casino's and im a small stakes poker (.5/1nl) 5 hours a day...can it be done?

In the past this would have been easy. A lot of guys were 6 tabling Absolute and pulling in 3k a month as ABS had reloads 10 times a month basically. Nowadays ABS clearance is about 1/3 what it used to be so that is an option but not a great one anymore.

YOu could clear about 6k in Ultimate Bet bonuses per year. FT and PokerStars might have 2K a year combined. After that it's slim pickings unfortunately

Bonuswhoring days are over now. Why do you think jek and boys at bw sold off...of course jek comes on 2+2 and says it isn't so. Hard to believe he would sell a cash cow if it was doing so wonderful..especially during these turbulent times.

This is probably true for the us market, but as far as bonus whores go there is the rest of the world. Who still have loads of whoring opportunities.

Yep bonus whoring is very much alive for the rest of the world.

Also, I thought that jek and his crew have sold off BW because of the legalities now surrounding the website.

I know of three very popular and public US poker forums/blogs that have take down all of their poker affiliate links, for fear of breaking the new US law.

I think there is a line in the legislation, that recently passed last October, making it not only illegal to provide funding means for US gamblers... but also making it illegal to even so much as provide US gamblers avenues to gamble, or something.

Basically it was very 'loose' language in the legislation, that managed to capture (and possibly incriminate) anyone who simply advertised gambling websites to US citizens, online... i.e. Affiliates.
