In these levels? I see a flush does it and sometimes even A high.

Why would a lone K check behind of the flop?

For some reason, I don't like that turn bet. But that's maybe just that in my experience, against 2 opponents, at least 1 will call.
Your river bet is just as gross as his raise. 0.3 in a 1.9 pot? After you bet 0.5 on the turn? That is really bad bet sizing. If you think you have the best hand, bet more. If you think you can scare him away, bet more. But this is a futile attempt, unless he as an 8 too and then he will call 100% of the time. If he has a K he will call or raise obviously. But he might try to bluff with some PP and you can try to pick it up (if it is a reasonable bet).
So check/call on the river.
