Both against same villain, hes running 30/3/3.5 over 30 hands. For the first one, should I check this turn and either induce a bluff or make it easier for me to value bet the river. In the second hand should I just fold it on that wet flop? Fold even harder on the turn?

Hand 1 fine,
Hand 2, if he's 3-bet you before i go over top with a push sometimes a read thing. Fold as played on turn. The call on flop says you dont like your hand

On hand 1 I would either bet smaller (5-7) or check. In this case I would check since villian is a LAG.
Hand 2 is a bitch. If this is the first time he has done this I just fold. In fact, I would need a strong read on him in order to continue, and I would three-bet.

any other thoughts here? hand 2 definite fold?

rollos - i dont know if id classify villain as a LAG so much as loose passive

Hand 1: Yeah, mix it up. Sometimes I bet and sometimes I check to induce bluffs. It's all fun to insta-call the bluffer on the river.

Hand 2: Nooooooo - never call here on the flop. This is the worst thing you can do! Depending on your table image and reads on Villain, either shove (if you put him on a draw) or fold (if he raises with solid hands only). By default and without seeing that bad Turn and River, it's more likely a shove than a fold.

Hand 1 : with this board very few hands pay you if villain has any sense. If you are lucky enough he has AK-AJ. if you are very unlucky he has A's, K's or JT.

Hand 2 : without reads, its a hard call. He either had a medium pair, a set or a pair with a draw. You can't call this flop, either you reraise or fold. In micro levels I raise every time. More often then not, they have 10's here.
as played I lead the turn, this A is as scary to him as it is to you. If he raise again, its an easy fold. You can't c/c the turn unless you are trapping him.

With four to a straight and an ace on the board... yeah, fold. Hand 1 is standard. Checkraising turn is ok too, though I prefer betting out, as many weakish aces will check behind but call a bet.

Hand 2: Flop, push or fold imho. What are you hoping to see on the turn/river?

You said he's loose/passive - if he doesn't have an A, he's not betting. If he has one, he's calling. So just bet.

or make it easier for me to value bet the river.

Once in awhile I will check this turn in order to get a non-ace to call a river bet. Two of my hud stats are "fold to flop bet" and "went to SD." If they are both low (calls a lot of flops, folds a lot of turns/rivers) it tells me a) he could be calling the flop without an ace and b) he's likely to fold if I bet the turn. So I check turn, bet river, he calles with some middle pair.
