I don't have any specific reads on the player but have played about 50 hands with him.
Poker tracker stats are 23/4/0.8...

I have about 27 left in my stack left to call.

Should I be folding on the turn?

I think a fold here is fine. Simple Baluga theorem even though we are getting >2:1. If he had A8 or JJ he probably raises flop cuz he's pretty vulnerable. Looks like a set or 79s/T8s/86s.

Edit: Bet sizing is a bit off...I would raise more on flop with FD out there and maybe a bit less on turn blank.

Yeah, my bet sizing was a bit off. Woops.

Yeah, I had a similar read to yours. He however turned over 89 to my wonderful surprise. It made me happy.

Am I running into this sort of raise by weak hands often?

Everything looks standard except your turn bet size.

How much should I be betting on turn?

1/2Pot?

Isn't a weaker bet inviting raises?
