This is my first post. A little history:

I have been playing online poker for the last 2.5 years. I moved from limit to nl about 4 months ago. I play 50nl sh and 100 nl sh. My stats for the last 20,000 hands sh since moving to Stars are 19/14/4 (10%VIP utg and 30% otb)with 5.5ptbb/100, so i am pretty agressive. i only play 3 to four tables, because my play is pretty read dependant.

Recently, i have been spending some time 12 tabling 50nl full ring to try and build fpps for supernova, and just to mix things up. Because most of my nl experience is short handed i feel like i have been running into trouble playing overpairs. The full ring tables seem to be full of rocks that are set mining, and i have consistantly been overplaying my overpairs into sets. SH, this still happens, but it is more then made up for with loose calls from the players that i have been hammering on.

I have been trying to fix this problem, but i am afraid that i am becoming too weak tight. Here a latest example. It is a simple line that i feel like i played right, but i feel like a big pussy. Any comments would be helpful.

Villin is 24/0/2.15 over 75 hands, and no plays that i remember seeing ( i dont see much with 12 tables ).

I figure he could be playing 77 or kq. j10 or a club draw are possabilities, but a raise to 25 or 30 has me commited.

It's hard to tell because your flop bet is so small. Why did you make it less than 50% of the pot? I have no idea where you stand at this point because of that bet, either.

In this case UTG limped. 77 or KQ are the only hands that realistically beat you. I think your ahead of a lot of his range at this point, though. Try getting it AI. On the other hand, if you bet a normal amount on the flop and he still raises you, I'm probably calling it and if a blank hits on the turn betting out.

i have been thinking some more about this hand.
SH i always cbet 2/3 of the pot.
Because i have been becoming gun shy full ringi have dropped my cbets to around half the pot. If i were the villin, i would usually jump on weaker bets, but this isnt the board i would make a play on. Any comments on bet size would be helpful too.

I would probably bet the pot on this flop but I guess that puts you in a tougher spot on later streets.
