Is this the right way to play this set? Too optimistic?

Bet .50 on the flop, and shoving over the raise is fine. Two pair raises you almost every time here, and even if they have the straight, you have seven outs to beat it on the flop, and ten on the turn. You played it well.

Looks good your most beating most hands he has and probley got him to go AI with the worst hand well played.

FYI you can raise this preflop if you want to. Nothing wrong with limping either. Just depends.

I could try to nitpick the bet-sizing on the flop too, but it worked in getting this all-in, so whatever.

Very nice hand. Keep it up you will make monies doing this.

PF - I don't play FR but I'm pretty sure that limping this is pretty standard.

Flop - I think that the bet size is fine, some would bet more but this works too because it often induces a raise (if he has Ax of clubs you're pricing him in though). 3-bet AI is standard, you're beating everything but TT so you want to get all your money in.

Stack sizes?

You should be happy to get it all in on this flop. If he had TT or KK, that's just poker.

Nice hand. You flopped a set on that board. I don't think there's any room for pessimism. Good job getting the money in on the flop.

Only one hand has you beaten on the flop, so it is not too optimistic. I also bet more on the flop but the rest is standard.
